put the camera down and help me!

so i was downloading all the pictures from our camera the other day and found this... have i mentioned that noah is SKINNY and all of his shorts fall off of him! He is still wearing 6-12 month shorts...so these usually stay on, but they couldn't even stand up to playing in the backyard with dad! I'm glad loren got it all on camera...but it looks like noah could have used a little help!

texas summers...

i shouldn't complain, because texas summers don't get as hot as it does in vegas, but throw a little (or a lot) of humidity in with the mix and it sometimes seems unbearable. so, one of the best purchases we have made is a little blow up pool for the patio...we will be spending a lot of time in it! It was only 95 today, but I had to break out the pool so noah could actually play outside and not melt!

So, I have now decided that my "mother's intuition radar" is completely off! I have been wrong with both babies now! We found out last week that we are having a girl!! We're so excited...but I am scared! I have figured out how to do boy really well (so far)... now I have to look for dresses & bows! I can tell this going to be a whole new ballgame. Now, deciding on a name is the next big step...some that are on our list are... Ava, Austin, Chloe, Quincy (that's on my list!), and...who knows, I am glad we have a little while to figure it out! What do you guys think about Beverly?!

pink or blue?

i can't believe that i am 18 weeks along and about to find out the sex of the baby! we go in tuesday for the ultrasound sooooo it is time to get your guesses in? what will it be? and what are some baby names we should condsider? with noah, we got a lot of really creative names from people! it was fun to see what everyone thought! so get it in quick! and we will take all name suggestions under consideration...maybe!

Noah is 15 (almost 16) months and this picture depicts him perfectly right now! WHAT is always the question. He throws his hands up and exclaims “WHAT?” to everything we do and everywhere we go. Now we know that it means almost everything to the little guy. “What?” as he points at a banana, “Nana?” That means he wants one. “What?” he points at the swing. He wants to swing. I love it! He so stinkin’ cute!

raspberry babies...

Makayla came to visit us for 5 days while her parents, Kristen and Ryan, had to tough it out in Hawaii! It was so much fun and I realized that I hadn't taken any pictures! So, last night the perfect opportunity came when we had a dessert of blueberries and raspberries after dinner. This is the progression of all the messy fun...

My friend, April, and I decided to start this little baby shop on etsy when we quickly realized how living on school loans would be! We came up with a few unique and stylish handmade items for babies and started doing craft shows and selling them in little boutiques in Texas! I recently found out that some of my onesies are going to featured in Pregnancy and Newborn Magazine! My friend from high school, Paige Davidson, has the cutest boutique in Gainesville and online store where she sells the most uniques handbags that her and her mom make out of the funkiest fabrics. (Cahootshandbags.com) She started selling my stuff this January and hooked me up with the magazine where I sent in some of my things! (Thanks, Paige!) And from there, an amazing photographer here in Dallas area (weedonphoto.com) found us and asked if I could design birth announcements for her clients! That has been the most fun as a find my new passion of designing in photoshop.
