i came home from the gym tuesday night to find this...

loren decided to feed noah strawberries and raspberries for his dessert... or i should say noah fed himself! it was so cute, but i thought the favorite blue sweatshirt was a goner...

i think that noah was a little distressed himself but...

noah's little personality is showing up more and more! he has always been very mild-mannered and easy going. lately, he is starting to realize when something is taken away that he wants or when things aren't going his way. i know that all kids reach this point at sometime, but his way of dealing with it is hilarious! when he gets mad, he scrunches his face and makes this mean sound. i have no idea where he got it from, but now he does it everyday and sometimes, even on command! "noah, do your mean face!" and there it is!

i can't believe it! noah had his first birthday on januray31st. time has flown by! we had a fun party for him on saturday and took the traditional messy cake pictures...which i am very thankful for! loren and i had been going back and forth about whether or not to have cake for him...we had a waffle bowl filled with sliced strawberries topped with whipped cream one hour before the party started. at the last minute, loren decided that he needed a cake! YEAH! we can be careful for the other 364 days of the year!

the chase...

noah is all over the place...climbing on shelves, getting into cabinets... it's crazy! we have to baby proof everything. he is so fun to watch! i took a few pictures of him today. he was chasing cheerio around with a comb...he was determined to brush her fur!

viva las vegas! noah's first christmas was so fun! we headed back to vegas to spend christmas with loren's family and my sister, sara. it was so nice to see everybody and show off noah. it had been a long time since we've been back and i realized how nice it will be to back near family. noah decided to start walking a few days before we left and hasn't stopped since! he is on the go...constantly.
