let him eat cake...
i can't believe it! noah had his first birthday on januray31st. time has flown by! we had a fun party for him on saturday and took the traditional messy cake pictures...which i am very thankful for! loren and i had been going back and forth about whether or not to have cake for him...we had a waffle bowl filled with sliced strawberries topped with whipped cream one hour before the party started. at the last minute, loren decided that he needed a cake! YEAH! we can be careful for the other 364 days of the year!

So cute! We tried to get Megan to eat cake on her 1st birthday...not a chance...so I never got that "messy cake shot" :(

Speaking of cake - the other day Adam was eating a piece of cake and I took off a big bite of frosting and shoved it in Megan's mouth...just to see if she liked it.
She spit it out AND started crying. Seriously, this girl is not normal!
