Makayla came to visit us for 5 days while her parents, Kristen and Ryan, had to tough it out in Hawaii! It was so much fun and I realized that I hadn't taken any pictures! So, last night the perfect opportunity came when we had a dessert of blueberries and raspberries after dinner. This is the progression of all the messy fun...

My friend, April, and I decided to start this little baby shop on etsy when we quickly realized how living on school loans would be! We came up with a few unique and stylish handmade items for babies and started doing craft shows and selling them in little boutiques in Texas! I recently found out that some of my onesies are going to featured in Pregnancy and Newborn Magazine! My friend from high school, Paige Davidson, has the cutest boutique in Gainesville and online store where she sells the most uniques handbags that her and her mom make out of the funkiest fabrics. (Cahootshandbags.com) She started selling my stuff this January and hooked me up with the magazine where I sent in some of my things! (Thanks, Paige!) And from there, an amazing photographer here in Dallas area (weedonphoto.com) found us and asked if I could design birth announcements for her clients! That has been the most fun as a find my new passion of designing in photoshop. So, keep your eyes out for the June issue of Pregnancy and Newborn magazine and take a gander at their summer fun section! my best friend's wedding...

the main purpose for our trip out to vegas was to go to my friend, kellie's wedding! it was beautiful and i am so glad i was able to attend their amazing sealing! i wanted to post a few pictures of the beautiful bride and groom and of some the friends i ran into! thanks, kellie and brandon! it was amazing!

here's to motherhood...

i can't believe how time flies...seriously. what happened to all those hours in the day when i would have time to lounge and watch the bachelor with all commercials (pre-dvr) or just whip up some delicious baked goodie just because...ohhh, that's right. MOTHERHOOD happened! i laugh at myself when I think about what i thought it would be like being a mom- all those hours doing whatever i wanted around the house, not having to get up early to go to work, i could shop all day and tote around my perfect child that would never need to nap! i laugh at myself now! i do love being a mom, but it sure is a reality check! my day is more filled than it was before. i have been wanting to get on here and post all the cute new pictures that have been piling up on my memory card, but i have been crazy busy! noah and i took a fun filled trip to las vegas last month and now, weeks later, i finally have them on the computer! so...here is to trying to catch everyone up on our crazy lives here in texas and a big salute to all the busy mothers out there...it's nice to know, we're not alone!
